On September 27^th Year 2 had an autumn walk in Bushy Park. It was a perfect opening to our topic ‘Explorers and Adventurers’.

The children explored different habitats, spotted a variety of wildlife and had lots of fun building dens! The children also made their own leaf men and other animals, which linked to our Year 2 story The Leaf Man. The children then used this inspiration to write their own wonderfully creative journeys for their leaf men.
